Creative and effective methods and tools to maximise your unique strengths as an educator

Teacher Training Course

Key Action 1
Mobility Projects

“You can be creative in anything – in math, science, engineering, philosophy – as much as you can in music or in painting or in dance.” - Sir Ken Robinson -

Course overview and details

Imagine being equipped with a revitalised educational (and personal) toolbox that fosters motivation, innovation and out-of-the-box thinking in you and your students. Our course aims to bring you, as an educator, into direct contact with your strengths, understand how you communicate and how you listen. You will then look at and identify what in your teaching approach would benefit from re-framing and refreshing so you can reach your highest potential as a teacher. Using the Expressive Arts as the basis of our methodology, this holistic approach will equip you with creative tools to help keep your subject, teaching style and learning environment fresh, dynamic and differentiated. Your learning will be experiential, meaning you will firstly learn through doing and experience, which will then be backed up by theory to concretise your understanding. With this course we strive to cultivate an educational environment that motivates our educators with refreshing ideas that are inspiring and adaptable to all teaching subjects. At the end of this course you will have refreshed your toolbox with simple and effective tools that can be used directly in your classroom as well as be passed on to your colleges and students.
